In Transylvania which of sights are worthwhile, which are repetitive or too similar and which ones would you omit if any. We are thinking about visiting Romania next year and will only have five days if we go, or flights will be from teh UK so jet lag isn't an issue, but we really only have 3 full days in Romania if we make this trip.
These are the sights we are considering:-
Bran,
Rasnov,
Peles
Sighisoara,
Viscri
Harman ,
Prejmer.
We only plan on staying in Bucharest and Brasov and will make day trips. Any suggestions/advice? Thank you.
Romania -which of these sights are a must see.

If you'll travel by car you can see nearly all these places in three days. If you'll go by public transport stick to Peles, Sighisoara and Prejmer.
Thanks, flat4.
We won't have three days, unfortunately the longest we'll have (once flight schedules are taken into account) is two nights and one full day in Brasov. I guess we'll need to choose which sights to visit. Which do fodorites recommend?
Here's a rough draft of the itineary
Day 1, Arrive Bucharest airport late pm. Overnight Bucharest.
Day 2, early am train to Brasov, sightsee Brasov overnight Brasov.
Day 3, Day trip from Brasov, overnight Brasov.
Day 4, sightseeing nearby Brasov area train to Bucharest pm, overnight Bucharest
Day 5, Bucharest city tour. Visit Palace of Parliament in the morning. Depart Romania.
I am in Romania for work, it is my first time and I spent 2 nights in Bucharest and 2 in Sibiu. I was also looking around for advice for my last full day, I'm flying back on Sunday.
I just thought I would mention Sibiu, since you are planning to stay in Brasov. It is worth inserting Sibiu in your itinerary - I managed to see both cities (I prefer Sibiu) in a day and a half (plus work meetings).
