I will be spending 4 days, 3 nights in Brasov this summer. From there, I will be heading over to Nessebar to meet up with my girlfriend. I'll have a couple of days to spear and was wondering if anyone has suggestions of places to stop. I was thinking Veliko Tarnovo. Thoughts?

VT is a very colorful, historic city. I was there twice during the Soviet Bloc days, and once recently (2005)..
That, and Varna would be two possibilities for you. We also liked the latter, with one of the finest oceanside parks in Europe (Marine Gardens). Of the two, I would suggest Varna...then bus (are you driving?) to the coast and Nessebar. Both Varna (largecity ) and Nessebar (smaller bachside town)) will be very crowded in summer. Northern and western Europe eans have discovered it..years ago.
Hotel suggestion in VT, the Alegra...very well presented hotel, near everything you'll want to see.
Suggestion for Bras(h)ov..The Post Hotel in town center.

sorry, Manny...I meant to say VT as the suggested stop..not Varna...though most busses stop in Varbna where you'd change for Nessebar.
