Roman Forum: Ancient Church 'Santa Maria Antiqua' Reopens Apr10-May30

Jump to last reply

If you plan to be in Rome between now and the end of May you might want to try to arrange a visit to this ancient church.
I believe than the sign in the Forum stated it was going to be finished and reopened in April '04 but this seems to have been pushed back to '07:(. And perhaps this is why they are having this limited opening?
Article and a couple of photos here

Now this online newspaper
www.accessatlanta.com/hp/content/shared-gen/ap/Other_Entertainment/Italy_Forum_Frescoes.html has at the end of the article this URL www.pierreci.it for ticket info. But I had no luck finding ticket info with any of the links.
If you're interested you could try to emailing them info@pierreci.it .
Regards, Walter
