Apologize in advance if this has been addressed already but I couldn't find anything in the search.
Just doing a little planning for our upcoming trip (and this is one of my favorite museums in Paris.)
The Museum website says that the Hotel Biron is undergoing a massive renovation. Does anyone how much of the building is open, or is it all closed? I love the building itself as much as the collection it houses.
Also, I thought I saw a yelp review (maybe questionable) that said that a good part of the garden is closed as well?
I know I can probably just wait till I get there and see for myself since I'm staying only a few blocks away, but I'd love to know.
Thanks!

Anyone? Maybe those of you on the ground in Paris? Thanks!
Skatterfly, I don't know the answer, but I do hope it is open, it's one of my favourite Paris museums. Enjoy your holiday.
skatterfly:
I was at Musee Rodin last May and a lot was open, including the grounds, during the renovation.
The best thing is to go to the museum website for the latest information:
http://www.musee-rodin.fr/
The garden is only partially closed until March 5 and who knows what that means as the garden is quite large.
If you really need to know what parts of the museum are closed then email them near your travel dates to get the latest information. I don't think there is any way for the museum to predict exactly what will be closed when as work never goes according to schedule. And even if someone knows today what is open/closed that doesn't mean the same will apply in the near future.
