River View Accomodations

I will be in Budapest early next June. I'm looking for accomodations with river view. I would really like a balcony. It appears that this is only offered on the Buda side. Are there any nice, affordable (preferrable around $100-$150 max a night) on the Pest side with view of castle and bridge?
Found River Apartments near Szabadsag hid (Freedom Bridge). Is this too far, unsafe or bad location? Anyone familiar with them. They are through ohb.hu online Hotels Budapest. Would really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mc,

I think that you will get more responses if you repost with Budapest in the title.

Many of the big corporate hotels on the Pest side have views of the castle. The Marriott is the only one I know which has balconies, but also try the Intercontinental and Sofitel.

Yes, people here recommend the Marriott in Pest for the balconies and views, but don't know if it's in your budget for high season. Check the hotel offers at ba.com.

We stayed at The Marriott in Sept. 2005. I got a really good price from priceline. I think it was $66. We had a very nice room-no problems-friendly,helpful staff. The price did not include breakfast.
