Hi
I am coming to LOndon in September and plan on going to Spamalot and have already seen wicked. WHat show do you suggest we see, wether it is a play or musical I would like all of your opinions. Lets see what is popular.
Thanks so much!

Momof5: This is the second time you've asked about a Broadway show -- in London?? I assume you mean a West End show. Check out www.londontheatre.co.uk and pick up a copy of Time Out. Both have reviews of everything to do w/ West End, National Theatre and Fringe (sort of the London version of "Off Broadway"
Can't very well suggest a specific show w/o knowing what sort of things you like -- thare are a lot of good shows running right now.

You seem somewhat confused. Broadway is an actual street in New York - near where most of the major theaters are - hence "Broadway shows" - a opposed to "off-Broadway" in theaters in other parts of the city.
In London most theaters are in the West End - hence you would want to know about West End shows NOT Broadway.
Sometimes there are versions of the same shows in both places - but many shows are available in either only one place or another (since they are not MOVIES - but live theatrical performances).
And the same shows playing in various places around the US are not Broadway shows either - they're simply road show productions (or national tours if you prefer).

I apologize for the ignorance, I do not know what I was thinking. Yes I know broadway is in NYC, i just was not thinking. Just looked at all the shows and wondered what was a Fodorite favorite. Thank you for the information, you all are awesome.
