Hi everybody,
I'm new to both Fodors and this forum and I was hoping you could give me your opinions concerning these three cities.
I'd like to make an off-the-beaten path trip next June and I've been looking through pictures of Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius and the three of them look beautiful, so I have the following questions:
1. Is it worth visiting the three of them?
2. How long should I spend in each of them?
3. Which one is your favorite and why?
Thanks a lot.

I have visited these three cities this past summer, certainly it is worthwile for visiting as all of them full of historaical and achitectural treasures.
It is easy to travel by train in the summer, but much more convenient by bus.
For preperly apprecaited them, I think you will need at least 2 nights in each cities; for doing some daytrips out of town, you would need more time.
It is hard to say about favorite, but the art deco buildings in Riga is very impressive; on the other hand, the old twon in Tallinn is very beautiful; and Vilnius is very interesting and less torusity. Among the three, Tallinn is most expensive regardign restaurants and accommadations.
