Any recent restaurant recommendations for Reykjavik? (the only must stop is the "Baejar Beztu hot dog stand!) We leave US on 08/05. Since restaurants change often, any new suggestions? Also 2 days in the Lake Myvatn area - anything there noteworthy?
Thanks!

Sjavarkjallarinn(fish), Vox(fusion), Grillid(classic), Perlan(classic) are all very good and expensive. Sjavarkjallarinn is located in Reykjavik city center and Vox in Hotel Nordica. Both Perlan and Grillid offer uncomparable views over the chaotic but small city.
For perhaps more relaxed dining there is the very popular and hectic Vegamot. Try the lobster pasta.
Best Pizza is probably at the Eldsmidjan or the Reykjavik Pizza Company.
Anyway when ordering try to focus on the fish and lamb dishes as that is what we do best.
