Reviews: Red Valley or Albunea Travel for Cappadocia tours?

Jump to last reply

Has anyone had any experience with either Albunea Travel or Red Valley in the Cappadocia area or elsewhere in Turkey? I was going to book a guide or a 1 day small van trip with Rock Valley Travel but our hotel is recommending these two others.

thanks for any feedback...

We organised our trip in Turkey with Turkey Golden Tours in March 2011. We were initially interested in booking package 1 but later they designed another & better itinerary that suits our needs and dates in Turkey. We arrrived at Ataturk Airport very late and our plane was delayed but the staff of Turkey Golden Tours was still waiting for us ! That was very helpful otherwise, it would be very hard to find our way to our hotel. Our accommodations were alse booked by Turkey Golden Tours and all of the hotels were centrally located, clean and safe. We attened Bosphorus and Two continents tour and Byzantium and Ottoman Relics tour in Istanbul then took morning flight to Cappadocia, spend two days and one night in Cappadocia. We stayed in a cave that was a true experience. The second day morning we took the balloon flight even though it was expensive but Turkey Golden Tours offered us 115 euro per head (regular price 160 euro pp) end of the second day tour we took overnight bus to Antalya. When we arrived in Antalya we were lucky because our room was ready and check in the room. we have rest before our tour to Perge - Side - Aspendos and Manavgat Waterfall. We slept in Kaleici Pension in Antalya. We had a free day next day and we just wondered around the city. I think it is important to be on your own instead of being dependent on the tour all the time. We went to Pamukkale and slept in Pamukkale. Next day, we did tour to Pamukkale and Hierepolis and after a short bus ride arrived in Kusadasi, we have a four star hotel where we had our dinner included in the tour package. We did Ephesus tour and took evening flight back to Istanbul and we were transferred to our hotel. On the way back to home Turkey Golden Tour provided complimentray airport pick - up. We enjoyed our time and tour arrangements.
