Return to Slovakia, then visiting Northern Hungary by auto.

Hello! This will be my second journey to Slovakia, where my grandmother was born. Last May of 2011, I met my Slovak family in the area of Poprad, Slovakia. The trip was amazing! This year, we are flying into Vienna from Amsterdam and then onto Levoce, Slovakia. Last year, we stayed in Poprad, but we would like to stay in Levoce for three nights while visiting family and sightseeing. After our Slovakian stay, we would like to stay three nights in Hungary. I heard that Eger, Hungary is a great place to visit. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay in Eger? Also, we hope to spend the third night in Budapest, since the next day we need to leave for the Vienna airport to return to Amsterdam. We hope to find either a B & B or a Boutique Hotel and that is clean, safe and friendly---nothing too fancy, unless it's a bargain! Thank you so much!
