I have to get my car back to Athens airport early tomorrow morning. My car hire is with Thrifty and when I took it, I took it at the airport. Unfortunately I didn't ask them, as I normally do, the directions for returning my car. I will be coming on the main road coming from the Corinth side.

As I have to return it so early, can anyone help me with the logistics for returning it? I would be most appreciative.

I can't recall specific instructions off the top of my head, but the rental car return was well marked as you drive into ATH. You can walk straight to the terminal - no requirement to take a bus. I don't think there was even an option to take a bus!

Patricia, do you mean returning it to the Airport, where you hired it???
From Corinth, as u remember, it's a big express divided highway ... do you have a Map?? There is only ONE direction to remember: At Elefsina, the turn to the RIGHT is to Central Athens.. you do NOT want that. Sstay LEFT.

One Tip: they usually give the car to you with a full tank of gas/petrol, and y ou are supposed to return it the same way.... and if it's half-full, the agency charge-per-liter is costly. If you want to fill up just before you return your car, keep your eyes peeled as you approach the airport .. about 10 KM before the airport, on the LH side is a gas/petrol station where u can fill up.

As Aggie says, clear signage for dropping rental car & it is just outside the airport... you'll just roll y our bag a couple hundred yards.
