Resytaurants - Capri - Positano & Rome

Would love your favorites - will be in each area a few days. Anything from tiny neighborhood finds and up.

In Positano, we love Tre Sorelle on the beach and Ferdinandos on Fornillo beach.

If you have a smart phone, the app Amalfi Coast Travel Essentials has great restaurant recommendations for both Positano and Capri (along with other great tips).

In and around Positano: BUCCA DI BACCO on the beach; LO GUARACINO for wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, incredible views! on the flower-filled seaside path that leads from town dock to FORNILLO BEACH; HOTEL POSEIDON restaurant terrace for amazing views/drinks;
SARCENO D'ORO on Viale Pasitea for wonderful pizza, pasta, etc. no view, but great, reasonably priced food; IL CAPITANO also on Viale Pasitea for great water views, very good food;

In MONTEPERTUSO, mountain village 15 min by car or taxi: My favorite: LA TAGLIATLA, also DONNA ROSA. Great views at sunset (!), great food.

In CAPRI: LO ZODIACO at Marina Grande ( where boats come in/depart) for handmade pastas, pizzas, very reasonable

In ROME: Love ARMANDO DEL PANTHEON, just a few steps from The Pantheon. Two brothers run this family-owned trattoria. Lots of Italian families, local politicians eat there. Excellent food, but MUST HAVE RESERVATION and bring it with you!

I wanted to add that some of the restaurants in Montepertuso offer free round trip transfers to guests staying in Positano hotels. Ask your front desk to find out.
