Restaurant for a special dinner in Lyon

My husband and I will be in Lyon on our upcoming 38th wedding anniversary and I would appreciate any recommendations for a special dinner. Doesn't have to be fancy or super expensive, just delicious food, warm, friendly atmosphere and good service. I would say our top budget would be 125-150 euros total (we generally just order just one glass of wine each or a small carafe). My husband has a major sweet tooth, so excellent desserts would be very welcome.
Thanks!

Anthony Bourdain did a "Parts Unknown" program featuring Paul Bocuse’s Auberge du Pont de Collonges, 3 Michelin stars. Needless to say, looked wonderful. Cost unknown but fun to dream.

Our concierge recommended Le Pelon d'Or at 29 Rue des Remparts D'Ainay. It was homey and traditional. You must make reservations ahead of time. We saw many parties turned away.

Hi Vanne!

May be for your anniversary ( congrats! )you like to go to a higher end place. But take a look at Brasserie Le Sud, managed by Paul Bocusse.

Located with views to one of the rivers, just in front of the famous " tree of flowers" ,

We found the service and food, very good, traditional food, no "dust" no "foam".

Good bread and olives on the house, good dishes and very good sweets, something meringue and a baba ou rhum to die for.

Excellent Côtes du Rhone By the glass.

Just take a look at their web and if you like, make a reservation for a table with a view.
Enjoy Lyon and your life!

MmePerdu - I saw that Bourdain episode -- the restaurant looks great, but out of our budget.

Thanks MmePerdu, berta and jelopez -- we'll be in Lyon for four nights and we'll definitely check out these other restaurants!

Vanne, you may want to check out La Fourchette for discounts on restaurants in Lyon (or anywhere else in France).

I have enjoyed Chez Hugon and Le Bouchon des Cordeliers, and also Les Trois Cochons, which isn't on that list.

We had one of the best meals, ever, anywhere, and had the place and our delightful waiter (there 20+ years) all to ourselves one lunch at the window table, and it was just awesoee! The menu changes every day (choices each course actually difficult to choose...all so appealing.)

I really wish we had a been able to return for the Lobster menu...

Magnificent desserts.

You will not believe the lovely atmosphere, quality and preparation of the fresh food and beautiful presentations, at those prices.

Truly unbelievable!

StCirque and djkbooks --thanks for your input. djkbooks, L'Espace looks like it might be a good choice for our special dinner -- the menu looks good and it's near our hotel, so we can easily walk to and from. And StCirque, your suggestions look like good choices for lunch or dinner on our other days in Lyon!
