I have found an amazing deal on a rental car in Spain with RentalCars.com which is a subsidiary of Priceline.com.
Have you had good experience with this company?

Caveat Emptor.
Domestically, in the U.S., I see no price savings by using this company.
Internationally, the pricing seems way too good to be true.
I used a domestic trip I'll be on next month and an international trip in Ireland in August.
However, the reviews are quite negative.

Thanks Rastaguytoday.
After I posted this query I found an amazing deal with autoeurope.com, with whom I've booked cars previously.

I've used this company (http://www.economycarrentals.com/ ) in Turkey, Sicily and Poland when Autoeurope could not offer a "basic" rate. As long as the car is returned to the same location, it tended to be cheaper than Autoeurope, but more expensive with a one-way rental. The coverage offered is similar to what Visa offers (you pay and then submit a report for reimbursement) and I did not have any experience with it since I had no damage to my rentals.
happytrails-- careful with autoeurope for IRELAND. I had a really bad experience with autoeurope where they "Bait & Switch" a rated quoted. I submitted a compliant to the Better Business Bureau (BB) and provided associated documentation. Autoeurope had the opportunity and did the same. BBB decided the case on my favor; Bait & Switch had been used and I did get reimbursed. Very sad at the end for me; I had used them and recommended them for years.
..and yes, I do realize you are traveling to Spain. BTW, my experience with HERTZ in Spain was fantastic. Go figure.

You mean that you did not pre-pay, which is what I have done every time I have rented through autoeurope.
We use Auto Europe and EuropCar and have done so for years and have never experienced a problem with either one. Auto Europe uses EuropeCar in certain locations, otherwise they use Avis and Hertz (which cost less though AE then dealing directly with Avis or Hertz, except on rentals lasting less than three days, then Hertz tends to be cheaper).
After discovering that my good deal with autoeurope.com is with Hertz, I went directly to Hertz and got an even better deal. I also discovered that, in Madrid, it made a big difference where I selected to pick up and return the car.

Michael-- pre-pay or not it does NOT take away that autoeurope was found liable for Bait & Switch and (as post stated) had to REIMBURSED me. The only credit I give them is that they did complied with BBB's determination and reimbursed me expeditiously. Still, they should not had done it to begin with...
happytrails-- glad you found a great deal with Hertz. Enjoy Spain, an amazing destinaton!
How did they bait and switch? Your voucher specifies the type of car. Did they switch a smaller car? Why did you accept it if the voucher specified a bigger car?
