Like others I've been checking the renfe site for their winter schedules. We're wanting to travel from Cordoba to Madrid on Tuesday 12th January and note that up to the 9th there are trains running in the morning. However, from the 10th onwards the first train departs Cordoba at 1:30pm.
Does anyone know if they only run afternoon/evening trains from this date onwards or whether it's likely that early trains haven't been loaded into the system yet?
I've found a phone number for renfe but am having problems finding an e-mail address. Would anyone have one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Amanda

The trains from Cordoba to Madrid are normally every hour, and this won't change drastically next year. The trains obviously aren't available for booking yet. Try again in a few days and it should be OK.
As Geoff says, they aren't loaded yet. I'm still checking every day for January, too, and am experiencing the same thing as you.
Considering they literally just loaded the fares for mid-late December this past Friday, I think we'll be waiting a few more weeks to buy ours. Good luck!
Thanks GeoffHamer and Nanbug. I thought that might be the case - we have had a couple of hiccups with bus and plane times being changed after we've made the booking that I was a bit anxious.

Four Maccas ~
The fares have been loaded for early January!
Have fun in Spain, maybe we'll cross paths, since we'll be there around the same time, it seems.
Thanks NanBug, have just made my purchase! A quick question: I had an issue printing the tickets and just have the locator number along with an e-mail from renfe confirming the details of the purchase (date, seat location, time etc). If I remember correctly do you know if I can take this number to say the renfe counter at Barajas Airport and get the tickets printed there? I think I read someone's trip report where this is what they did.
Amanda
I believe that's true, as long as you have the locator # you're good. But maybe someone else can confirm for you, though. Have a great trip.
