Recommend between Coimbra and Tomar

Jump to last reply

Hello again. We would love some suggestions for places to base for our visit to Tomar and Coimbra. We will be driving from Northern Portugal via Belmonte on our way south to Zambujeira do Mar in April.
We plan on 2 days in the area and would like a rural place, Quinta or Manor House easy distance between the two (we really don't like one night stands).

Also we have the possibility of spending Easter weekend in Sintra. Will it be crazy busy during that weekend? I read that Sintra tourist areas are open on Easter.

This trip is starting to be a bit more coherent after a lot off false starts. We really appreciate all the great feedback we have received from you folks. So, thank you in advance.
