reasonable & well located hotels in Munich

Jump to last reply

I'm looking for places to stay in Munich & it seems they're expensive.

Any recommendations? I know we can find something cheaper if we stay on the outskirts of the city, but I don't want to waste alot of time traveling in & out of the city every day.

Since I don't know the area at all -- it is worth staying on the outskirts? Is it easy to travel in, or a long haul?

What would be a good, central area of the city to stay, & does anyone have any recommendations as to someplace nice, clean & reasonable? Like maybe between
$100-150

Any help would be appreciated.

Not totally averse to staying on outskirts, as long as the trip in isnt' a long haul.
