Re-opening of the unbelievably beautiful Rijksmuseum

Jump to last reply

The renovated Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam will re-open on Saturday April 13, 2013. For outstanding videos of the construction work in progress see

The videos are professional high quality. Use the full screen version of YouTube for best viewing. The audio is in good crisp Dutch.

For other images and English see the Rijksmuseum site at

I seldom get emotional but I must say that this event absolutely thrills me.
