Ravello Music Festival confusion

My wife and I will be staying in Positano from July 19-26 of this year, and are interested in attending a concert from the Ravello Music Festival. However, some of the info out there has me confused.

Firstly, there appear to be two websites (http://www.ravellofestival.com/ and http://ravelloarts.org/) that have conflicting concert schedules. From what I can gather, I'm guessing that these two sites actually refer to two different concern locations with the ravelloarts ones actually being up in Scala, not in Ravello?

Secondly is the concern of getting back to Positano after the concert. From looking around the forum it looks like in the past people have said that the SITA busses don't run that late and that we should hire a car ahead of time, however I found this on ravelloarts.org in reference to travel:

"Transfers to Amalfi after the concerts are assured by SITA bus service all the year long at 23.25. To other destinations (Minori, Maiori, Positano, Praiano and Sorrento) only in Summer. It may therefore be advisable to book a taxi in advance for the way back. A taxi list is available on this site."

So it sounds like we actually should be able to catch a bus back to Positano after the concert in spite of how late it will end, but everyone seems to recommend hiring a car. Also, since this is on ravelloarts.org I'm not sure if it is also applicable for the concerts listed on ravellofestival.com, which from what I can gather take place at Villa Rufolo.

This is so confusing

Confusing indeed! FWIW, it seems to me that the ravelloarts concerts are at EITHER Ravello or Scalla, depending on the concert. The concert I attended in Ravello at the Villa Rufolo some years ago was arranged through the Ravello Festival program. I stayed in Ravello, though, so I didn't have to worry about transportation. As I recall, when I booked my ticket, I got a very prompt response, so you might try emailing them.... Good luck!

Vise, did you ever get anywhere with this? It is confusing between the two sites. The Ravello Festival site refers to the spring/summer series or Wagner Festival which ends the first week of September. The ravello arts.org is the main or civic society's website. The Ravello Festival's website gives you specific venue info for each concert under the box office listings. The society's website has he following explanation for venue:

"In the cool spring and autumn evenings concerts are held inside the Villa Rufolo palace. At the end of May and in June the concerts are held in the garden, in the nearby of one of the ancient towers. In case of bad weather condition concerts are held inside the palace."

But that doesn't say much for the summer nights of September, which is what I'm wanting to know. I'd love to hear if you were able to get any intel on this!
