Rain in Portugal

Jump to last reply

Sorry if this seems like a silly question:

We are leaving next week for 16 days in Portugal, from Evora the farthest south to Guimaraes the farthest north. Long-range forecasts show likelihood of showers pretty much the whole time. For those familiar with this, what is that is real terms? Will it drip a little bit once or twice a day, or will it be a light rain for the better part of the day?

And any thoughts on spending time in rainy Portugal -- when we had expected sunshine this time of year, and thus mostly walking around -- would be appreciated.
