Ragusa Parking

While visiting Sicily this May, we are planning a day trip to Ragusa. Where does one park for the day? We really like "easy in/easy out" if there is such a thing in Ragusa. The other option is a train from Cómiso, then bus to Ragusa Ibla. Suggestions/recommendations are welcome.

Thanks! Mati

Although we didn't have a car in Ragusa, it was pretty clear that parking and driving were challenging.

Take a look at this thread which discusses a new parking lot below Ragusa Ibla:

Mati, we daytripped by car to Ragusa Ibla from Modica and came in on the road at the bottom of the map shown as "Per Modica-Siracusa." It was the scenic, somewhat windy road recommended by our innkeeper in Modica and took us right to where we wanted to be. Following the signs to Ragusa Ibla, we parked in the parking lot closest to the number 6 on the map. What the map doesn't show is elevation. Ragusa Ibla will be above you, and there's a stairway from the parking lot to the town. The parking lot is new--it was by far the best parking we encountered on the trip and would do Disneyland proud.

Just realized that there are two sixes, one red and one blue. Our parking lot was the one closest on the map to the red number 6 for the Chiesa di S. Filippo Neri.
