Quiet parts of Trastevere, Rome

Jump to last reply

My wife and I will be in Rome next May for our honeymoon and we're looking for a quiet, comfortable, well-appointed place to stay in Trastevere. Since we’ll be doing a lot of walking during the day we want to be sure we are able to sleep well at night so a quiet place very important to us. In reading about the neighborhood I've seen references to parts of Trastevere that are quieter/noisier than others but without much detail so I’m unclear exactly where these areas are. Can anyone shed any light on where the quieter parts of Trastevere are? Thanks very much.
