We are driving from Nancy to Aachem on Thursday, and plan to drive thru Luxembourg. We have about 8-9 hours for this trip. I know the drive is about 3.5 hours non-stop. That leaves us about 4.5 - 5,5 hours. We plan to stop in Diekirch to see the WWII museum. So my question is, should we try to fit in a stop in Lux City, or skip it due to lack of time and instead see either Clervaux or Vianden? Thank you.

I drove through the Luxembourg wine country last week and found it absolutely lovely.

We enjoyed walking around the old town in Luxembourg as well as along the corniche. You can also take a tram ride that takes you down into the valley.

Kerouac, We just spent 3 days on Alsace wine route and several days on the Mosel in Germany, so while your photos are beautiful, we are looking for something different. Happytourist, do you think it is worth going into the city if we only have 2-3 hours? I have read nice feedback on the corniche walk. Thx.
