Isn't it a bit late to be doing research for your term paper?
Anyway, here are some answers for Canada:
1. Realizing that this is a separate country.

From the UK:
1. To understand that we don't live in castles, don't doff our hats to the local lord of the manor, and don't talk like Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins.
2. A government that doesn't introduce 50 new taxes in 10 years.
3. Marmite.
1) Stupidity of their management. They really do expect things to work like at home.

3) rough toilet paper - accurately folded to 9 layers. (Chris, you people are pigs when it comes to toilet paper! It doesn't fold properly)
Have no idea what sort of project this is for - but I think you need to do a lot more research before asking anyone. And then you need to identify who to ask.
What you're getting here is a bunch of people who are by no means average (we're all either avid travelers or wanns-bes) and so are likely more familiar with other countries than most locals.
Also- how do you know what service or goods you want if you don;t have it? (When europeans come to NYC they usually buy things here because they're much CHEAPER - either due to exchange rate or the discount structure in the US - not things they can;t get at home.
1: accept you are not doing business in the US - Adapt to local customs of working.

3: That would be telling - we're not al out to conquer the world.
