Question re: Centrovalli Train
Here's what I was thinkin on doing, stopping off on the way up at Intragna, stroll through the town, then go to Verdasio taking cable car to Rasa. Then carry'n on to Domodossola. On the way back to Locarno get off at Camedo and bike down to Ponte Brolla.
So my questions are,
1- Am I trying to do to much in one day, 2- is it worth going all the way to Domodossola and if so what can one do there & 3- how much time should I expect to take in each area?
Thank you for all who share,,, darmar97

It sounds like a GREAT day to me. Get an early start and watch the schedule closely because not every train stops at every stop all day. Another cable car is across the road from the one to Rasa that goes up Monte Camedo. From the top you have an amazing view and you'll see the little pedestrian village of Rasa.
I've done the bike ride back down and it's very quick. I wished I had known how quick because I would have taken more time
The views along the Centovalli change and I think it's worth going all the way to Domodossola because you will see the rusticas and vineyards at that end. It's a really really beautiful ride. Enjoy!

damar - i walked around domodossola and its an average Italian town - which means interesting but to me was unremarkable. Any a rather desecrated smoggy river valley with mining, etc. nearby
But i have not been there for a while
the Centovalli is however a pure joy
