Question for nytraveler

Many Thanks for all your input, it has been invaluable.

We arrive on Virgin at Terminal 3 and then have another ticket on BA for a flight to Paris out of Terminal 5.

Assuming that Virgin won't, and they do sometimes and refuse most of the time, check our bag through on BA and we pick up our checked luggage from Virgin, what is the best way to get to terminal 5?

I do appreciate your insight as well as the other Fodorites.
