Question about Geox Shoes

I just bought a pair of Geox shoes at Nordstrom. Ordinarily I'm a Euro size 38, but I was betwixt and between the 38 and the 37-1/2; one was just a wee bit large-ish, the other a wee bit smallish (or was it my imagination because I'm used to being a 38)? Anyhow, I went with the 38 and am now walking around the house in them and wondering if I made the wrong choice -- they feel a tad too big!

Now, before anyone scolds me, I know that I and I alone can decide which size fits me. My question to those who have bought Geox shoes is: do you find they stretch over time? Do you generally find they run true to size? I thought some opinions from experienced wearers might guide me in my choice to keep these or exchange them for the smaller ones.
