Puglia - one final itinerary dilemma

Jump to last reply

We fly into Bari very early in the morning. Then we're going to Matera, then on to Otsuni area (Masseria Montenapoleone). But I want to squeeze in eating at Antichi Sappori in Montegrosso. So the choices are:

1
Drive from Bari to Matera, spend just the afternoon there
Drive to Lami di Luna
Late dinner at Antichi Sappori
Next day, drive to Otsuni

OR

2
Drive from Bari to Matera, stay over in Matera
Next morning, drive to Antichi Sappori for lunch
Drive to Otsuni, arrive late afternoon

The pro to choice #1 are that we'd get more of a day in Otsuni. The con is that it's 3 hours of driving in one day.

The pros to choice #2 is that we'd get to stay overnight in Matera. The con is losing much of a day in Otsuni.
