Pubs in Brussels and Bruges

Any recommendations for pubs in Brussels and Bruges where we can sample some fine Belgium Ale? The Delirium Pub is already in my calendar. Apart from Delirium, I'm looking for some interesting places to try where the locals go...not the bus loads of tourists thanks in advance!! Brian

In Brussels, check out the Delirium Cafe. The Delirium Red is amazing. I want to drink it forever.

L'atelier had more than 800 different beers last time I went.
My years at universtity are long over, as well as my years as beerdrinker but l'Atelier is still open

Be sure to check out Moeder Lambeik - the bartenders are great in helping you pick out a beer. It's not far from the Mannekin Pis, but only a handful of locals (and seemingly no tourists) were there when we visited last month.

In Brussels' Grand Place is a small beer museum http://www.belgianbrewers.be/en/home/
When I visited long ago there was almost no-one there but the curator was most hospitable and spent the afternoon drinking beer with me for free. I see there is an admission charge now. I also see plenty of negative reviews on Trip Advisor so maybe I lucked out.
For an old-fashioned beer hall, consider A Le Mort Subite, Montagne-aux-Herbes Potagères 7, also a brand of beer. http://www.alamortsubite.com/ENG/info.html
