Public transport Germany/Switserland

Hi, We have exchanged RCI weeks to Deidesheim Germany and Leysin Switserland. We want to use public transport for all our excursions but are unsure as the what pass, if any, to buy. We plan on travelling in Hesse and to the Black Forest and in Switserland around Lake Geneva, Montreaux and one day to Mont Blanc. We also need to get from Deidesheim to Leysin on a Saturday. I have searched bahn.com and swissrail but would like to know from someone that did something similar as what the best options would be. There are a few different type of passes and I am unsure which would be the best option for us. We are travelling in June. All information would be appreciated.
