Provence lodging for single traveler

Traveling solo to Provence for 2 weeks, specifically Bouches du Rhone and Vaucluse Area. I am looking for a small rental cottage or bed and breakfast. I will have a car, so I can stay put at the same place the whole 2 weeks and take day trips. I was wondering if any of you might have a favorite place you could recommend, as I have been on so many websites looking at lodging and most all of them look awesome, I couldn't begin to make up my mind. I plan on going early spring. ANy help is appreciated!

Excerpted from a previous posting:<BR><BR>Author: Rex ([email protected])<BR>Date: 02/20/2002, 10:56 pm<BR><BR>Message: Here's a place on my wanna-visit-someday-soon list:<BR><BR>http://www.campagne-jeanne.com<BR><BR>Let me know what it's like, if you stay there<BR><BR>===================================== =<BR><BR>It is not an exact match for what you are seeking, but it does seem worth your investigating. Especially if you would have an interest in breaking up your two weeks into 3 or 4 nights here/there at more than one destination.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

Cheryl:<BR><BR>There is so much to choose from and so little time. I prefer B &amp; B's to cottages because you get to meet the locals. One site that I would suggest to you for really great places to stay in the Avignon area and East is:<BR><BR><BR>http://www.avignon-et-provence.com/navigation/gb/hebergement/bb.htm<BR><BR>For other neat things to do and see visit:<BR><BR>http://groups.yahoo.com/group/provence
