Provence lodging for single traveler
Traveling solo to Provence for 2 weeks, specifically Bouches du Rhone and Vaucluse Area. I am looking for a small rental cottage or bed and breakfast. I will have a car, so I can stay put at the same place the whole 2 weeks and take day trips. I was wondering if any of you might have a favorite place you could recommend, as I have been on so many websites looking at lodging and most all of them look awesome, I couldn't begin to make up my mind. I plan on going early spring. ANy help is appreciated!

Especially if you would have an interest in breaking up your two weeks into 3 or 4 nights here/there at more than one destination.

Best wishes,

Rex
Cheryl:

There is so much to choose from and so little time. I prefer B & B's to cottages because you get to meet the locals. One site that I would suggest to you for really great places to stay in the Avignon area and East is:

http://www.avignon-et-provence.com/navigation/gb/hebergement/bb.htm

For other neat things to do and see visit:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/provence
