Provence itinerary

First trip to Provence next fall. Doing initial planning to figure out how to spend 12 days between visiting historic must see sights and spending time in the quiet countryside. Prefer to stay in small towns. Meeting with other couples at certain points so some places to stay are pretty set. How does this driving itinerary look for first timer--
4 nights--Lourmarin, probably at Villa St. Louis . Explore the villages of the Luberon
3 nights--L'Isle-Sur-le-Sorgue, maybe Terrasses du Bussin. Day trips to St Remy/Les Baux and Orange + Rhone winery visit.
3 nights--Uzes, probably at Maison dela Bourgade. Day trips to Avignon and Nimes/Pont du Gard
2 nights--uncertain. Head back toward Marseille for flight to Rome.. Perhaps quick visits to Arles or Aix. Or some place on the coast near Marseille and save Arles and Aix for next trip?

Suggestions always welcome. Merci.
