Provence base for cycling?

Jump to last reply

Hi everyone! My husband and I are headed to Provence in late September. We have a few nights in Uzes for exploring Arles and that part of Provence, and we want somewhere to stay for 4 nights to use as a base for sightseeing and cycling (we're renting bikes). Right now, I'm looking at a B&B in Modene (near Mazan) or one near St. Saturnin les Apt.

We've been all over France, but we've never been to Provence before. Which of these would be a better base for sightseeing and cycling? Is there another location that might be more suitable? We're thinking the Vaucluse makes sense as a place for the first part of our stay, but are open to other suggestions.

Thanks!
