Provence 4 nights in October

I'm in the planning stage for a trip to Provence, starting in Paris, TGV to Avignon and car rental for 4 or 5 nights in Provence and then on to Italian Riviera, then Florence. After reading recs in the forum, I've decided to stay in or close to St. Remy for a base. Was wondering if you could help with hotel suggestions. My preference would be a 4 or 5 star, with a close walk or no more than a 10 minute drive to restaurants for dinner. Was looking at Chateau Les Alpilles or La Cabro d'Or, but open to any suggestions.
