Private transportation between Italian Cities

We are a family of ten traveling in June. We are in search of reliable private transportation between Venice, Florence, one other location TBD, and finally Rome. We are making all other arrangements ourselves and simply want to be transported from one location to another after our two to three night stay in each city. If you have traveled in that manner recently, could you give me an estimate of what it cost. Many thanks.

Below is a link to the kind of service you are looking for and you can find them through Google searches for "buses pullmans weddings special occasions Venice". Track down a couple & ask them for quotes for every aspect of your trip. It will either be the case that it is cheaper to go with one company for your whole trip (Florence based?) , or it will be cheaper to use one company for one leg, and a different company for another. It might be that it is a cheaper for a Rome based company to drive to where you are and pick you up & take you to Rome, or it is cheaper to get a local company to take you from TBD to Rome and drop you off.

It might also be that there are some companies that service all of Italy.

Hi Duffymarie!

September 2016 we did the following:

Transfer Venezia, Piazzale Roma to La Spezia....8 persons....wonderful Mercedes van.

Transfer La Spezia to Nice(France).....6 persons, again wonderful Mercedes van.

The company: best-airport-transfers.com if memory is ok.

Realy good transfers, with stops to eat/drink.

You don't worry about nothing and pay to the driver.

Enjoy!

Trains ?>

Are you kidding? Getting all 10 with bags down to train station and out at other end a nightmare -probably three taxis on each end unless using public transit and could well cost even more. What you been smoking?

jelopez -what did 8 people cost about?

do you tip the driver?

Try TiberLimo based in Rome for estimates. They have drivers who will take you wherever you want to go in Italy. We used them for trips to and from The Amalfi Coast and would highly recommend them.

Hi PalenQ!

Venezia to La Spezia....8 persons, all luggage, 550€ , no tip, and driver did not accept our invitation to have lunch, the company pays him.

Best choice! Piazzale Venezia to the door of our hotel in La Spezia.
