Private tour of the Colosseum?

Private tour of the Colosseum?
Hi! I'm taking a trip to Rome end-September and was wondering if anyone knows whether there are private tours of the Colosseum available that allow broader access to the site than would be generally available. Thanks for the input, and happy travels!

i just looked at a website last week that had private tours of the colosseum and the vatican. I think I found the site on slowtrav. I will try to find the website. We will be there mid sept and are thinking of this as well.

Hi Melissa,
Check out www.contextrome.com - I did a number of their tours and found them to be worth every cent. The Roma Antica tour covers the Colosseum and The Roman Forum and a few surrounding sites. I don't believe however that we had 'broader access' than anyone else.
Their Vatican Art Tour was also fantastic.

Thanks, all! I'll check out the site. No problems with being near others 
but I want to make sure there isn't any "special access" part of the Colosseum we miss! Thanks again! I'll post an update when we return!
