printing prem tickets?
I know another question about this topic-sorry!
I read all the threads and MorganB's great tutorial and was so happy that I successfully (I think) purchased 4 prem tickets, until I pushed the print button and nothing happened-the bottem of my screen said "done" but the page was blank. I was able to print the page with my confirmation number but not the actual tickets, after filling in the names and birthdays. I do have adobe reader, but was wondering if I need the French version? The website states that I should be able to "print later" by going to the home page and clicking on a button that says "imprimer les billets", but I cannot find that button anywhere on the homepage...any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Someone else has posted about not being able to print their Prem tickets so there must be some sort of glitch. Hopefully, it's temporary.
Here's what you can do later. Go to the homepage in French. In the middle of the page under "Train" click on "Gérer mes réservations." On the next page you will see a box where you can fill in your confirmation number ("votre référence de dossier" and your name. Then click on "consulter." That should bring up your tickets and you should be able to print them. I can't go any further since I don't have a number to fill in. If you have questions about what to do after that let us know.
Boy, that site is the pits, especially if you don't read French!

I know they've changed the website since I "played" with it this summer, but I couldn't print for around 4 or 5 days. Then one day, I could.
I also never received an email confirmation of my purchase, so I was really nervous.

You should get an email confirmation, that's for sure. YOu don't need any French version of Adobe, I know that, as I've printed them several times with no problems without doing anything unusual.
It's been a while, but it sounds to me like you are trying to print the tickets right when you buy them, and that wasn't the way it worked. Because you say you tried to print them right after putting in your names. You can't print them until you get an email with a confirmation and it gives you a link to print them or something, as I recall.

Thank you Betty1-I did just what you said and I was successfully able to print-hooray!! I have not received an email confirmation as of yet, but now that I printed the tickets, I'm not too worried about that.
Thanks again so much for the superb directions!

Just to let everyone know, after I followed all this good advice from you smart fodorites, I must admit that I checked the prices on the rail europe site and I only ended up saving about $ 25 total for 4 tickets printing the PREMS. I am still proud that I successfully printed them, but for those looking from the US, you may wanted to check the rail europe site on the 90 days prior to your train trip date, just to check out the savings to see if it is worth the hassle.

Well what Betty1 suggested did not work for me - in fact when I entered into the "Gerer..." I think it is now telling me there is some problem retrieving my reservation. BUT I did get an email that actually has a reference number and offers to let me print but when I enter in the names and birthdates, it then does not print due to technical problem - contact our "service clientle" AAARRRGGGGHHH. My card has been charged. If I never get these printed, what do you think is the next best plan of action? I arrive into Barcelona - this is a night train up to Paris - do you think someone at the station in Barcelona would be helpful? or a travel agent in Barcelona? What if I get on the train with the print out that has my file number on it? It shows I have paid. Don't really want to do this tho! but I have a compartment reservation.
