Printing Paris Bus Routes --Kerouac, others?
I think it was Kerouac who sent a link to Paris bus route 69 in response to some post here. I put the link into my favorites and have printed it out. Somehow I cannot, however, get the program to print other routes. Can someone help me get to the site from which I can access and print these bus route maps. I've tried various versions of ratp and just seem unable to get to the right place.
I have the Le Bus guide in print but find their maps far less easy to follow than the one I've printed for 69. Thanks for any help offered.

This is the site I used: http://www.ratp.fr/plan-interactif/
Click on a colored line which is 1 route, then click again on the symbol of the line with dots which is the printable map of that line with all the stops.

I can't find it on the English-language site, but here's the page on the French-language site:
http://www.ratp.fr/fr/ratp/c_20559/c...ble-des-plans/
It should be very easy to use without knowing French.

I missed a step...
1. Click on a colored line on the map to choose 1 route.
2. Click again on that line and symbols will appear.
3. Click on the symbol of a crooked red line with dots. You'll get the printable map for that route.

http://www.ratp.fr/informer/pdf/plans-bus/plans_bus.php
This will allow you to put in your route and get a great PDF of the individual route map. In fact if you put in this URL:
http://www.ratp.fr/informer/pdf/orie...loc=bus_paris/
You get the 69 bus...or any other bus route...just replace the <strong>69</strong> in the URL with the number you want.

Happy to report that we spent 12 days in Paris and only resorted to the metro once. Have gradually learned to love the bus and now we are totally sold--and pretty knowledgeable. Thanks for all your help.

You can also get the PDF schedule (which usually includes the map) using this:
http://www.ratp.fr/informer/pdf/orie...&loc=bus_paris
Once again, substitute the route number you want for <strong>69</strong> in the above URL.

I have looked at the maps of the bus routes on all of the sites mentioned, and they are wonderful. Unfortunately, I think printing them out would make them too small to be readable, and without the lovely colors ! Is there a place I can purchase or request a map of the bus routes, once I get to Paris, or prior to my trip ?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I've printed all the individual routes I use, separately. Each can be printed in color in a straight-line format, easy to read and tuck in my pocket. I find them easier to use that way than on a map. One can always consult a map to see just where the stops are.

Every news kiosk has a few map versions available, but if you really want to browse and compare about 50 different maps of Paris, including some devoted exclusively to buses, go to the book section of a FNAC store in Paris (but preferably not one of the small ones in the main train station).
Here are 7 pages of available maps:
