I am a HUGE Princess Diana fan and would love to see the apartment where she lived while engaged to Prince Charles. IS it at Coleherne Court ? At Earl Court and Old Brompton? Is there more specific info than Coleherne Court ??

BTW she was not Princess Diana but Diana, Princess of Wales.
janisj the preschool is literally one minute away from where we are staying!!! thanks so much

Yup - knew that
(I think I mentioned on another thread that I often stay in Pimlico)
It's called Young England Kindergarten and is still going strong.

If you visit there, try the Troubadour Cafe nearby. You should pass right by it if you disembark from the West Brompton tube station to walk to Coleherne Rd.

It has a long history of famous musicians that played at the music venue (downstairs?). Prince Harry met Pippa there for tea a week or two after his brother's wedding.
dorfan - love this!! I will be with four young people who would love this and Prince Harry -WOW!!
We are all Harry Potter fans and I have found tons of spots for that!! Gringots - Diagon Alley - Ministry of Defense - Grimmaulds - Mill. Bridge - leaky cauldron - platform 9 3/4 -
Beatle fans too - my son's name is Macartney!! Going to Abbey Road!!
keep it coming - I truly appreciate it!!!
I am still so excited that I will be close to where Diana Princess of Wales worked!! Even found it on Google Earth!!
Found the hospital where Kate was hospitalized - we were basically walking past it!!
yes I obsess but I love planning and would hate to find out I was so close to some of these spots!!
Have you seen the live Abbey Road webcam:

After you visit, send the time you were there back to your friends/family and they can watch you from this website (UK is 8 hours ahead of US time). Also, don't miss the Beatles gift shop to the right side of the St. John's Wood tube station entrance (nearest station to Abbey Road).
I just saw a story about a new Harry Potter themed shop in King's Cross station that looks like it came straight out of the movie.
http://firewireblog.com/2012/12/24/harry-potter-fan-shop-opens-at-platform-9-34-at-kings-station-in-uk/
I have seen the Abbey Road webcam - very cool!!! and planning to visit the Beatles gift shop - IF you are talking about the Beatles Cafe - assuming its the same because it is by St John's Wood tube station.
The Harry Potter shop I hadnt heard about but would of course stumbled upon it at Platform 9 3/4 - thanks!!!
60 Coleherne Court.
