Hi
I have been trying to look for prices to travel from Vienna to Ljubljana and the cheapest I have found is 65 Euro's on the train!
To me this seems very expensive in comparison with travel across the rest of Eastern Europe
Is anyone aware of any cheaper fares or how much it might cost on the bus, please?
Many thanks.

Tickets start from €29 when bought in advance for certain trains, check the ÖBB website, www.oebb.at
There are no bus connections to my knowledge, only train and plane.
Just as a side note, don't expect Slovenia to be as cheap as most other places in Eastern Europe, it's the most developed and consequently one of the most expensive countries.
