price of lake thun ferry

We will be in Interlaken in June & would like to know the price of a 1st class fare on the ferry on Lake Thun...we are not interested in a dinner cruise, just the boat ride.

jenack:

Fares depend on the distance travelled. You will find all information on this website:

http://www.bls.ch/e/schifffahrt/schifffahrt.php

Hope this helps, enjoy your trip

Phil.

Holy moly! The prices are hilarious--I'm paying less to fly from Geneva to Paris!

Well Switz is expensive. (My last trip there a cab ride that would have been about $12 in NYC was more than $40.)

If you have a Swiss Pass, which I recommend, it covers boat cruises.

A Half-Fare Card also gets you half-fare on the boat.

Why are you planning on buying a first-class ticket?

2nd class is good enough.

The difference between 1st and 2nd class is a flight of stairs.

Been there, done that,
Pepper

PS If you don't want to take the boat to Thun from Interlaken West, you can get the train from Interlaken Ost or West.

At Interlaken Ost, the train leaves from track 5. It is the train to Berlin and it stops in Spiez and Thun.
