Pre-flight check in CPH-Stockholm

I'm flying from Cophenhagen to Stockholm on SAS on Sunday July 9. Departure is at 11:30am. What time should I arrive at the airport?
Thanks!

Hi C,

Have you asked SAS?

Oh, Ira, it's much more fun to ask here. I checked the website & it doesn't tell - I'll just wait & ask a flight attendant on my flight to CPH.

Denmark and Sweden are both Schengen countries so no border control between them. [And even before Schengen, I believe they have common travel area too.]

On SAS's website, you can check-in online; or you can use mobile phone, or use a kiosk at the airport. In general, in Europe, if you have luggage, you need to have that dropped 30 minutes the very latest.

Still, if you're unfamiliar with the airport, 60-75 minutes will be very comfortable. If you have no luggage and already checked-in online, then you can go there later.

I've never used CPH, so this is just common recommendations for a medium-sized modern European airport.

We've gotton caught in juge crowds in that airport---trouble moving through the terminal to even get to a check-in line. But that was the international terminal, and some years ago. Hopefully it's better now.

cobbie: I think that was about the time of my flight in Jan. this year..maybe an hour earlier. It wasn't bad. We actually had a fairly long wait because we got there pretty early. You, of course are traveling in the summer so I'll be it will be busier. I tend to be a tad anal, so were it me, I'd be like an hour and a half to two hours, just in case...but, that's me.

The Copenhagen airport was very crowded, especially lines for security, when we were there 2 weeks ago. The airport was even making announcements over the public address system about the long lines and wait times.

The good news is that it's a pleasant airport to spend time in if you play it safe and go early.
