We liked Josefov and stayed at a great hotel==Maximilian Hotel (maximilianhotel
@hotmail.com). We had room 308 which was larger than usual, good bathroom, view of the area in front of the hotel. Exceptional included breakfast, helpful staff, car service available. Two good restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance of river, Charles Bridge, astrological clock, etc. One of our favorite hotels in Europe.

hi there. i just returned from a year in prague, and seeing that if you're not going to stay so long in the city, i would recommend staying in the center. it's a small city, and itll be easy to only do the obvious things if you do stay in the center, so just make sure to get out! As far as particular hotels, I recommend the Renessance which is right off old town square. great location. if you have any other ?s on prague in general, things to do/see, other places to visit, email me at [email protected] and i'll help the best i can. I dont check these postings so much. hope i can help
