Prague to FRA - 1 night in between

Jump to last reply

For the final leg of our Germany/Czech trip in August, my husband and I leave Prague on a Friday and then have a 2pm flight out of Frankfurt on Saturday - so we have 1 night in between. Our original plan was to travel to Frankfurt and stay Friday night there - taking the bus from Prague to Nuremburg and then the train from there to Frankfurt. Then we thought that as long as we were changing transportation in Nuremburg, we could stay the night in Nuremburg and travel by train to FRA in the morning. We've been to Nuremburg, but wouldn't mind seeing it again.

What do you guys think makes the most sense? Any other options you can recommend? We thought about taking an internal flight from Prague to Frankfurt, but the choices seem to be non-stops for $500+/person or cheaper flights with connections that end up taking longer than the bus/train combo. Our international flights were purchased with miles, and we couldn't get open jaw, so we are stuck with traveling back to FRA to get home.
