Message: Hi
My boyfriend and I are going for a long weekend to Prague and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice about places to go in the evening. I've read the post about restaurants and found it very useful but would also like to know if there are any late night bars/ clubs?
thanks, Laurie

When I was in Prague a few years ago I remember stumbling drunk into a nightclub (located underground) that was converted from a wartime bomb shelter. It was near the center of town and it was a blast. I wish I could remember exactly where it was. Anyone help me out?
Anyway, if you walk around town, you will hear music and see people bustling around going to different places. You will definatly find a lot of stuff to do.
Hi Laurie
When I was there a couple of years ago, I read in the Prague Post a recommendation for a cocktail bar on Pariske.. just off the Old Town Square. Obviously I can't remember the name of the place now (!) but you'll be able to find the English language Prague Post at many newspaper booths (esp. around Wenceslas Square), and their recommendations for restaurants and nightlife were all worthwhile.
By the way, we had a scream in the bar... even had a laugh with the friendly barstaff who were delighted that I was at least attempting to place my order in Czech.
Have fun.
