Hi!
I'm looking for a nice hotel in Prague for two (my fiance and I) - criteria: great location (river views would be great, else street view/roof view), lively and safe...
I've already looked at Mamaison Pachtuv Palace...any other options would be great...do let me know ![]()

I've not stayed at Mamaison but I've heard it's great. I have stayed at Aria Hotel for a weekend away with my husband and we loved it. If you like the feel of a small boutique hotel versus a large hotel, you might check this one out. It has very nice common areas and access to the beautiful gardens next door which we loved as we climbed to the top for incredible views. There is a rooftop terrace which was nice for dinner/drinks. Service was great.
We stayed at Pension Dietzenhofer in Mala Strana twice, & really like it. The staff are helpful & friendly; rates are reasonable & includes a nice breakfast. However, it is in a quiet area, which we like. It is definitely safe and convenient, about a 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge.
I'm ending a 5 night stay at the Golden Well, which is just below the castle and above the Lesser Square. It has great service, breakfast, location and views.

I'm sad to be leaving, but if I come back, this will be my hotel.
On Sunday, I will be spending 3 nights at the Hotel Klarov.
Right on the river in Mala Strena. It's a 4**** hotel.
I chose them after looking at more than 50 hotels. You can check out their reviews.
My rate for a junior suite is 98 euros per night.
Unfortunately, their website is down because they are chaging payment providers. You can find pictures of the hotel by seeing other booking sites for the hotel.
You can contact them at reception@hotelklaov.cz
Duh!
That's reception@hotelklarov.cz
We visited Prague last year and stumbled upon Barcelo Old Town hotel. We found location, ambiance and staff delightful and are booked there for our November visit. We enjoy boutique hotels with charm but also modern convenience and liked how quiet tis hotel is even with its excellent location.
