Prague End of May
I am planning a trip to Prague from 20th to 26th of May, but I am not very sure about the weather there.
Can someone please tell me if it will be warm enough? Or it will still be a little cold ?
When i say warm I mean 8-10 hrs of sunlight and NO COLD WINDS .. Need feedback from someone who has been there around the same time of the year.
Thanks in advance !!

Nobody has that crystal ball.
I was there in May a few years ago, I found it agreeable, but - what is "COLD" to you? May is still Spring, proverbially the season of unpredictability, so what I experienced (light jacket, came off on warm afternoons) may not be what you will experience. There's no way to tell in advance.

I have travelled to Prague many times in May and generally the weather is usually pretty good, can be rainy but cold winds are unlikely.15 + hours of daylight at that time of year.
BTW there is a very good beer festival on when you are there.

I've been to Prague a couple times end of May, in case you don't know it, there is a very famous classical music festival going on during that time. Which means hotels get booked up early, and tickets to those events do also, but I doubt if you intend to go to it.
Weather websites with stats over the years are better than anecdotes from a few people based on one particular time they were there. That is the best idea of what it will be. No one can promise you anything, once I was there at that time and it was much hotter than I had expected and I ended up buying some lighter weight clothes. The other time, it was quite cool and rainy.
Hours of sunlight doesn't equate to temperature, I don't understand that point. Parts of the Arctic have almost 24 hours of daylight in the summer, but it isn't warm. Even in NOrway, the night may last only a few hours in summer.
Sun sets around 9 pm end of May in Prague. I don't remember ever experiencing what I thought of as really cold winds in Prague, but I've only been there from May to August. As I said, I have been there when it was cool and rainy, though. If you want summery and warm weather, don't go, as it could well be down to the 40sF at night (around 10C), and in daytime quite moderate, not too hot or cold (around 18-20C).

I have a Czech friend who was brought up in Sweden, he will have his shorts on from the end of this month ( actually he will probably be wearing them now).it can be quite warm in May and certainly not cold. I have been in Prague in May most years for the last 14 years and though not roasting warm certainly warm enough so you can go about with no need for a coat and maybe a light jacket at night.I am back in Prague on Sunday and expecting it to be a good deal warmer than Scotland.
