Prague: apartment??

Hi
There are 6 of us planning a short trip to Prague next year. We would prefer to stay in an apartment / house with at least 3 bedrooms / bathrooms. Can anyone recommend anywhere please?
Thanks a lot
Cathy

Talk to the nice folks at www.athos.cz - - I bet they can present you with several choices (though it might take two apartments to get you three bathrooms).

Best wishes,

Rex

good luck with that, as I think that is going to be very difficult -- actually, I think impossible, but I could be wrong. There are very few vacation rental apts with 3 bedrooms. I've never seen one with 3 bathrooms, and even 2-3 bedroom apts usually have only one bathroom--if you find 2 bathrooms, you are lucky.

Here is one agency that does have some 2-3 bedroom apts, though.

Here is another agency and I know they have a very large one on Nerudova street (called Astra Apts). I think their 4 bedroom apt only has one bath, though (check). They do have a luxury apt named Rehorova that has a couple baths and 2 bedrooms, so that's pretty good as many don't have two baths.

I have not stayed at any so can't make personal recommendations.

I agree that one 2BR/2ba with a nearby 1BR/1ba will likely come closest to meeting your hoped for criteria. It seems realistic that you can find a 2BR/2ba with a common space (LR, Dr, whatever) big enough for all six of you to enjoy some time together.

I see (now) that you posted this same question twice. Perhaps you were perplexed at how to find your question, to see if it had any answers (searching for your own name often does NOT work, in the first 24-72 hours after you posted!)

... but clicking on your own name is the method that always works. Sadly, Fodors does not inform new registrants of this. Too bad - - you gave them your e-mail address; it would be SO easy for them to make sure all new registrants know a few simple aspects of how this forum can best be used/enjoyed.

I found this source when looking for apartments in Prague:
Ondrej Opletal
Old Town Apartments
Phone +420 257 316 662
Fax +420 257 313 441
[email protected]

We didn't end up renting from them, but they had some very nice looking 'luxury' apartments.
