Prague Apartment Help, Please

Greetings! We last visited Prague in 2001, so presumably the city is a bit different now. We're heading there again with the children (and the dog) in October for a few days, and would appreciate any feedback on the apartments we are considering. The last one seems a little far from the city, but we will have our car if we need to drive in closer. Thanks.

first of all do not attemptnto drive in the city ,its a nightmare park your car up and use the Public transport system it is cheap and efficient.
The first Aprtment would be my choice, great area close to lots of transport options. It is cloes to narodni trida Metro but that station is closed for the next 2 years undergoing a majpor refurbishment but lots of trams in the area.
The second one, seems very good ,again close to transport options but may be noisy due to its proximity to the main railway station and closeness to the actual tracks.
The 3rd one is in a very nice area but you will have a few minutes walk to transport.

I agree with unclegus. I am very familiar with the areas of the first two. Transportation from either one is fine. Leave the car parked while in Prague and use the public transportation system.

I would take the 3rd one off the list.

I have used Apartment in Prague's services a number of times but have never stayed in the apartments mentioned above. I'd recommend staying in the Mala Strana area - it's within walking distance of nearly all sights but is nice and quiet. Any of the apartments in the Vlasska building are excellent - Vlasska 6 would be the most suitable.

Leave your car and walk or use public transport.

Have a great time!

Thank you all. We're never keen on driving if we can use the public transportation, and since the Vlasska apartments look lovely, Vlasska 6 it is! Now the fun of planning the itinerary can begin...
