Poland / nightlife & Masurian Lake District

Jump to last reply

Hi Everyone! After a long year in which both my mother was very ill (but thankfully recovered) and I had become very ill (but thankfully recovered), I have decided to go to Poland, a country I have always long been interested in visiting for my summer holiday in August. I am going for a few days with my sister and best friend, and then will be joined by my mother.

I have most of our plans down for the sightseeing portion with my mother but am interested in seeing if anyone has insight on the nightlife scene in Poland, especially Krakow. Is there much of a nightlife scene? Any tips or suggestions on places to visit?

Also, am very keen to visit the Masurian Lake District, especially Lake Kisajno which is in Giżycko (and where Roman Polanski filmed Knife in the Water). Any tips or suggestions on visiting the area? Was it easy to navigate?
